| Bio: | I'm a sixteen year old from Houston. I consume all forms of media avidly, especially books(current favorite: A Place of Greater Safety by Hilary Mantel). I'm an introvert, I read Tarot cards, I like Oreos, I'm a vegetarian for ethical reasons, I write sing draw and act(though the latter not well). Algebraic equations intrigue me in ways that they shouldn't. I'm pansexual and I don't believe in gender(Kate Bornstein is fabulous, y'all), at least not as the word is currently understood. I have a crush on a bisexual drag queen. I read blogs. I flirt with anime. I'm in love with Shakespeare and John Donne. I'm a feminist and I like men. I lift weights. My favorite fiction author is Stephen King. I love slash fanfiction. I'm considering writing a historical fiction novel about Frederick the Great and/or one about early twentieth-century physicists. My favorite nonfiction book is The Cartoon History of Time by John Gribbin, which is precisely like the Hawking version except with more jokes and fewer detailed explanations of particle physics. (Not that I'm not sometimes in the mood for particle physics, of course.) I am entranced by languages and am absolutely terrible at them. My sense of humor runs to the absurd(Why did the plane crash? Because the pilot was an apple. What has two legs and bleeds profusely? Half a cat). If there are any further questions, I'd be pleased to answer. Send 'em on over. |
